THE STORY BEHIND CLWB HELYG / THE WILLOW CLUB ✨
 You already know me through Welsh Willow Baskets, where my days are filled with the ancient, rhythmic craft of weaving willow. It’s a traditional skill I love deeply, and nothing brings me more joy than teaching people how to make things with their own hands.

But over the last year, I’ve noticed two big things:
  1. Physical workshops can be hard to get to, especially as the dark winter evenings creep in.
  2. People are genuinely craving a way to switch off from screens, slow down, and enjoy a creative hobby without the stress of sourcing materials.
 
That's exactly why I started Clwb Helyg - Willow Club
 
I wanted to take that special, friendly atmosphere of a traditional village craft workshop and bring it straight into your living room. By sending complete, premium kits to your door and hosting relaxed live Zoom sessions, we can all sit down together, have a chat, and learn a new skill-no matter where we live.
 
The craft club kits will be available to buy individually and there is no obligation to sign up for a set period, you can buy as many or as few as you want but there are bonus items available when you sign up for a three month bundle.
 
I created a Facebook Group because crafting shouldn't end when the Zoom call hangs up. I wanted to build a genuine community where we can share our progress, cheer each other on, ask for advice, and showcase what we’ve made.
