This 20" x 14" (51cm x 35cm) rag rug twining frame loom by Lili-wen Looms is an easy and simple way to begin your weaving journey. An ideal starter loom it can be used to weave any type of medium including wool, yarn, pre used fabric as well as recycled plastic bags.
Big enough to make a good sized door mat or placemat but small enough to make it portable. This is the size we us in our rug making workshops and our students can finish a rug in a few hours.
The loom consists of 35 x 3”(7.5cm) hardwood pegs top and bottom spaced at 1” (2.5cm) allowing plenty of room for your warp thread.
The loom is coated with linseed oil for a natural finish but can be left unfinished if required.
All looms are handmade at our joinery workshop and can be made to a different size if requested.
